Everything So Grand
The gently blowing breeze
Nudges the lovely flowers
Into a dance, releasing rain
From the recent showers.
The slowly moving clouds
Reflect into a pond nearby,
As does the infinite expanse
Of an azure blue-filled sky.
In the clear waters of the pond,
Goldfish play hide and seek,
Darting in, out, and around,
Beneath water lilies peek.
The melodious song of birds
Is heard as they build a nest
Where a newborn baby bird
Becomes the latest guest.
The distant purple mountains
To the heavens try to reach.
Far below, the rolling surf
Tosses waves upon the beach.
In this wonder world,
Gifts from the Creator's hand.
We thank and praise Him
For everything so grand.
